Assessivo

About us

Built to help you understand how you think

Assessivo is an online assessment platform for discovering, measuring and understanding different aspects of yourself.

Why Assessivo exists

Most online "IQ tests" are either a handful of trick questions or a long quiz that ends in a paywall and a vague number. We wanted something better: a well-structured assessment that is honest about what it measures, quick to start, and clear about what your results mean.

Assessivo starts with a cognitive assessment and will grow to cover other areas of personal insight over time.

What the assessment measures

The assessment looks at four areas of reasoning, with nine questions in each:

  • Fluid reasoning: spotting the hidden rule in unfamiliar patterns and grids.
  • Logical reasoning: following arguments, orderings and deductions.
  • Spatial reasoning: rotating, mirroring and folding shapes in your mind.
  • Numerical reasoning: finding the rules behind numbers and sequences.
36questions, drawn fresh from a larger pool for each attempt
25minutes, with questions that get harder as you go

How we think about results

Your score is calculated from how many questions you answer correctly, and placed on a familiar scale with an average of 100. Our methodology page explains the exact formula and how we are calibrating it. We are open about the limits of this: Assessivo is an online self-assessment for personal insight. It is not a clinical, diagnostic or professionally administered psychological test, and it should not be used to make medical, educational or employment decisions.

Who we are

Assessivo is created and operated by Prestige, based in the United States. We care about clear design, honest results and respecting your privacy. You can take the assessment without creating an account or giving us your name or email.

Our guides and articles follow our editorial policy, which explains how we research, fact-check and correct what we publish.
