Privacy Policy
We keep this simple: we collect as little as we can, and we never sell your information.
Effective date: October 13, 2026 · Last updated: October 17, 2026
1. Who we are
Assessivo (assessivo.com) is operated by Prestige, based in the United States ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and assessments, and how we use it.
2. Information we collect
You can take our assessments without creating an account or giving us your name or email address.
When you take an assessment
- The questions you were shown and the answers you chose.
- How long you spent on each question.
- When you started and finished, and your resulting scores.
- Any rating you give your report.
- The country you took it from, as a two-letter code (for example "GB"). We work it out from your IP address when the test starts, using the IP Geolocation by DB-IP database on our own server, and then discard the address. We never store your IP address with your results.
When you finish the photographic memory test
The memory test runs in your browser. When you finish, we save only anonymous statistics: the difficulty you chose, your score for each round, your overall score, the date and your country code. Nothing that identifies you is stored. Our kids' test saves nothing at all.
When you buy a detailed report
Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe's own checkout page. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe tells us whether the payment succeeded, and we keep a record of the payment reference, amount, currency and status. Stripe may collect your email address, name and billing details to process the payment, under Stripe's privacy policy.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
Technical information
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to run and secure the website.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and how many people start and finish the assessment. It collects information such as the pages you view, the buttons you click, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (country or city). We remove the private ID from result and report links before anything is sent, so Google never receives your result link. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising. You can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how people use our pages, so we can find and fix things that are confusing or broken. Clarity records how you interact with a page, such as mouse movements, clicks, scrolling and taps, and turns this into heatmaps and session replays. It also collects your device and browser type and approximate location. Text you type into forms is masked before it leaves your browser. Clarity is not used on your private result and report pages, or on our kids' test. Microsoft processes this data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. You can stop Clarity by blocking cookies in your browser.
3. How we use information
- To run the assessment, calculate your scores and show you your results and report.
- To confirm payments and unlock reports you have paid for.
- To avoid showing you questions you have recently seen.
- To improve our questions and scoring, using results in aggregate (for example, the average score across all attempts).
- To understand how the website is used and improve it, using Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
- To reply to your messages and provide support.
- To keep the website secure, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
4. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us run Assessivo, and only as needed:
- Hostinger, which hosts our website and database.
- Stripe, which processes payments.
- Google Analytics, which tells us how the website is used, as described above, under Google's privacy policy.
- Microsoft Clarity, which shows us how pages are used, as described above, under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- Google Fonts, which serves the fonts on our pages. Your browser requests fonts directly from Google, which receives your IP address as part of that request.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
5. Cookies and browser storage
We use these cookies. We don't use any of them for advertising:
- aq_seen: remembers which questions your browser has recently been shown, so a new attempt gives you fresh questions. It contains only question numbers and lasts 180 days.
- _ga and _ga_…: set by Google Analytics to tell visits apart and count returning visitors. They last up to 2 years.
- _clck and _clsk: set by Microsoft Clarity to recognise a returning browser and to join the pages you view into one session.
- CLID, MUID and related Microsoft cookies (ANONCHK, MR, SM): set on Microsoft's own domains when Clarity loads. Microsoft describes MUID as identifying browsers across Microsoft sites for advertising, site analytics and other operational purposes. We don't use Clarity or these cookies for advertising.
While you are taking an assessment, your progress is also saved temporarily in your browser's session storage, so a page refresh doesn't lose your answers. It is cleared when you finish or close the tab. If you buy a report, the days you tick off in its practice plan are saved in your browser's local storage on your device only; we never receive them. After you finish a test, your result page also saves its own link and score in session storage, so the IQ score pages can show a "Back to your result" link; it is cleared when you close the tab. If you open a friend's challenge link, your browser keeps their score in local storage for up to 14 days so your own result can show how you compare. These stay on your device and are never sent to us. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the assessment will still work.
6. Your result link
Your results are available at a private link containing a long random code. We don't attach your name to your results, but anyone you share the link with can view them, so keep it private if you don't want others to see your results.
7. How long we keep information
We keep assessment results so your result link and any report you bought keep working, and so we can calculate aggregate statistics. Payment records are kept as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes. Emails are kept as long as needed to help you. You can ask us to delete your results at any time.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access or delete the results connected to your result link by emailing support@assessivo.com with the link. Because we don't collect names or accounts, the result link is how we identify your data.
Depending on where you live in the United States, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, such as the right to know what personal information we hold, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal information in that way. To make a request, email us; we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
9. Children
Our kids' reasoning test is designed for children aged 6 to 12 to take with a parent or guardian. It runs entirely in your browser: no answers, results or personal information from it are sent to us or stored, it uses no cookies or browser storage, and Google Analytics is not loaded on that page.
Apart from the kids' reasoning test, Assessivo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Users under 18 should use Assessivo with a parent or guardian's permission. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), random result links and restricted access to our database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the effective date at the top, and for significant changes we will make that clear on the website.
