Terms of Use

Please read these terms before using Assessivo. By using the website, you agree to them.

1. About these terms

Assessivo (assessivo.com) is operated by Prestige, based in the United States ("we", "us", "our"). These terms apply to your use of the website, our assessments and any detailed report you buy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information, and our Refund Policy explains when refunds are available.

2. Who can use Assessivo

You must be at least 13 years old to use Assessivo. If you are under 18, you may only use Assessivo, and buy a report, with the permission of a parent or guardian. The one exception is our kids' reasoning test, which children aged 6 to 12 may take with a parent or guardian. It is a free practice activity that collects no information.

3. What results mean

Assessivo is an online self-assessment for personal insight and entertainment. It is not a clinical, diagnostic or professionally administered psychological or IQ test.

Scores are estimates based on your answers to a short set of questions and are not normed against a representative population. Results can vary between attempts and can be affected by things like tiredness, distractions and your device. Do not use Assessivo results to make medical, psychological, educational, employment or legal decisions. If you have concerns about your cognitive abilities, please speak to a qualified professional.

4. Detailed reports and payment

The basic assessment and score are free. You can choose to buy a detailed report for a specific result. The price is shown before you pay and is charged once; it is not a subscription. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Once payment is confirmed, the report for that result is unlocked and available through its result link.

Because the report is digital content delivered immediately, refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

Please use Assessivo fairly. You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape, republish or sell our questions, answers, explanations or reports;
  • use bots, scripts or other automated means to access the website or take assessments;
  • try to interfere with, overload or gain unauthorized access to the website or our systems;
  • misrepresent your results as a professional or certified assessment; or
  • use Assessivo in a way that breaks the law or harms others.

6. Our content

The website, its design, questions, scoring and reports are owned by Prestige or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and use them for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may share your own results for personal use.

Your results are available at a private link. Anyone with the link can view the result and any report unlocked for it, so keep it safe. We are not responsible for access by people you share your link with.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Assessivo available and accurate, but we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, including questions and scoring methods, at any time. We may update these terms; the effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use Assessivo after changes means you accept the updated terms.

9. Disclaimers

Assessivo is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prestige will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from decisions made based on your results. Our total liability for any claim relating to Assessivo is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Prestige is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before bringing any claim, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
